Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) organized by the University of Split (Croatia)

From April 7–11, 2025, a group of students and doctoral candidates from the University of Gdańsk – including two PhD students from the Department of Environmental Technology, MSc Eng. Hanna Zagórska and MSc Eng. Daniel Górzyński – participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) organized by the University of Split (Croatia), under the supervision of Dr Eng. Aleksandra Pieczyńska.

The program, titled “Achieving Sustainable Development Goals through Chemistry, Chemical and Food Technology”, included a series of lectures, workshops, computer lab sessions, and a visit to Stella Croatica, a company renowned for its high-quality olive oil production.

During the program, Dr Eng. Aleksandra Pieczyńska delivered a lecture on advanced oxidation processes used in water and wastewater treatment. On the final day of the course, participants presented their proposals for environmentally focused projects developed in international teams throughout the duration of the program.
