On September 11-12, 2024, Anna Gołąbiewska, Ph.D., and Emilia Gontarek-Castro, Ph.D., participated in the third meeting of the “Circular Ocean-bound Plastic” project, organized by the Leibniz-Institut für Ostseeforschung Warnemünde and partners from Rostock. The project is being implemented within the framework of the South Baltic Interreg Program 2021-2027, and aims to promote a circular economy and more resource-efficient solutions. During the two days, we focused on analyzing the key challenges for the project and planning the way forward. The live meeting was also a great opportunity to deepen relationships with our collaborators in a more relaxed atmosphere. The meeting was attended by all project partners, including representatives from organizations such as CLEAN, Ocean Plastic Forum, Plast Center Danmark, the University of Gdansk, Leibniz-Institut für Ostseeforschung Warnemünde, Universität Rostock and the Gdansk Sports Center.
